LOS ANGELES – Following 11 tough non-conference games, the Loyola Marymount women's soccer team now has West Coast Conference opponents to focus on for the remainder of the regular season. LMU (2-6-3) travels to Saint Mary's on Friday for a 3:30 p.m. game and closes out the weekend Sunday at 1 p.m. at Pacific.

"It is tough to go on the road to start conference," said Head Coach Michelle Myers. "These are two teams that playing at their places are not easy, but hopefully everything we did in our non-conference play has prepared us to get results in conference."

The Gaels posted a 5-4-1 record outside of league play, including a 2-0 shutout win over UC Davis their last time out. SMC has had a strong showing at home, starting 3-1 in Moraga this year.

Pacific is currently riding a four game losing streak to put their season mark at 2-7. Two of the last three games for the Tigers, finished as double overtime losses.

The Lions erased a multi-goal deficit last Saturday to earn a road tie after two overtimes with Long Beach State.

"I think the game on Saturday against Long Beach State was another opportunity for us to gain some confidence. Being down goals, then coming back on the road, hopefully stays in our players memories and gives them that motivation that they can do anything."

Both games will be streamed online and provide live stats. Links are located above.

Following the trip, the Lions return to Sullivan Field for a season-long three-game homestand beginning on Oct. 5 against Santa Clara.
