Opening up the home schedule on Saturday afternoon inside Gersten Pavilion, LMU volleyball (10-1) cruised to a 25-11, 25-16, 23-25, 25-17 win over Lamar University (3-8).

LION NOTES
LMU's 10-1 record to start the season is the best since beginning the 2014 campaign 12-0 … outside of the third-set setback, LMU led virtually the entire match, playing to two tie scores and one lead change – both coming early in the second set … despite trailing 18-10 in the third set, LMU made that period close, eventually drawing within a point at 24-23 by way of a late run that carried momentum into the fourth … the Lions are now averaging 15.05 assists per set and 15.93 kills per set – both tops in the nation entering this week … LMU improves to 5-0 in four-set matches this year.
