The LMU men's soccer team (1-4) will travel to Phoenix, Ariz., for a Thursday evening match at Grand Canyon University (2-2). The Lions and Lopes will kick off at 4 p.m. Following Thursday night's road game, LMU will return home to take on Seattle University (3-2) on Sunday at 4 p.m.
 
After starting the season with a win, the Lions have lost three straight, so the team looks to snap this streak with a win in Phoenix before returning home on Sunday. The LMU men's soccer team will follow the women's team on Sunday, who plays at 1 p.m., as part of a double header. Sunday's doubleheader will be LMU Athletics' Salute to Service day. Active duty and retired members of our Armed Forces are eligible to receive one (1) complimentary ticket and up to (4) discounted tickets. The first 100 fans will also receive a Salute to Service T-shirt, and the teams will host post-match autograph sessions.
 
The Lion's return home on Sunday begins a three-game home stretch for the team, as they take on Cal State Northridge (Sept. 20) and Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 27) following their matches this week.
