LOS ANGELES – Loyola Marymount women's soccer is coming off a pair of 2-1 home victories this past weekend, and now shifts focus to a weekend that features both an away and home match. The Lions (2-1-1) travel to UC Irvine on Friday for a 4 p.m. tilt before hosting Big Ten opponent, Indiana, on Sunday at 1 p.m.

"Two wins from last weekend gives us some confidence going into this weekend," said Head Coach Michelle Myers. "It shows that we can continue to battle and beat some good teams."

Friday's game against the Anteaters will be LMU's first true road game of the season, after opening the year with a pair of neutral-site games played in Hawaii. Irvine is 0-2-1 and will be playing their fourth-straight at Anteater Stadium to start the year. The Lions are unbeaten in Irvine over their last four matchups dating back to 2001. The start time has been moved to 4:00 p.m. to accommodate UCI's men's team playing later that evening.

The Hoosiers and Lions will then battle it out at Sullivan Field on Sunday for the first time in over a decade. The two teams have only met in 2005 and 2007, with IU claiming victory both times. This year's Indiana team is 1-1-1 to start the year, after cancelling their scheduled season-opener due to weather. The Hoosiers will be coming from up the coast, having a game with Pepperdine scheduled for Friday afternoon.

Mini-cowbells will be given to the first 100 fans in attendance on Sunday, and as a part of "Camper Reunion" all LMU summer campers will be invited to participate in on-field experiences before the game. Purchase one ticket and your camper gets in free.

Additionally, kids wearing youth jerseys will receive a discounted ticket to the game as part of Kids Day Presented by Coca-Cola.

The players will also be signing autographs following the match outside the entrance to the seating area.

Both matches will feature live stats, and Sunday's game will feature live video through theW.tv. The stream link will be available on the women's soccer schedule pagelater this week.

Tickets for Sunday's game are available onlineor at the LMU Ticket Office.
