LMU (15-5, 5-2 WCC) will close its regular season this weekend, as they host Santa Clara (12-9, 4-3 WCC) on Friday, April 20th for a 1:00 pm match before inviting the University of San Francisco (6-16, 2-5 WCC) to the bluff for their final home match at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 21st.

The last time that the Lions and the Santa Clara Broncos met, the Lions dropped the match, 4-2. When LMU met USF last season, they also fell to the Dons, 4-1. LMU will be looking to finish the season strong after dropping a pair of WCC matches last weekend.

The Lions enter the week third in WCC standings behind San Diego and BYU.

San Francisco features a ranked doubles pair in Johan Joenhagen/Mert Zincirli, as the duo checks in at #67 in the latest ITA rankings.

After this weekend’s matches, the Lions will be heading into WCC Championships. The Championships will be an all-day event that will take place from Thursday, April 26th- Saturday, April 28th.
