Finishing up a grueling week of play, #50 LMU men's tennis (15-5, 5-2 WCC) suffered a 4-0 setback at #44 San Diego (12-8, 6-1 WCC) on Sunday afternoon. The Lions have now dropped three straight matches after stringing together a 12-match win streak.

One bright spot for the Lions came on court two of doubles where Charles Boyce / Lukas Moenter upended #54 Nico Borter/Gui Osorio, 6-0. LMU would drop the other two decisions en route to falling behind 1-0 in the match score.

The Toreros carried the momentum into singles play, where victories on courts one, three and six handed USD the sweep.

The Lions will finish up the regular season next week, welcoming Santa Clara and San Francisco to the LMU Tennis Center on Friday and Saturday.

LMU currently sits third in the WCC standings behind USD and BYU.
