LOS ANGELES â€" Coming off a bye week, Loyola Marymount women's water polo is back in the pool for a three-day competitive tournament hosted by UC Irvine. All 16 teams in this year's Barbara Kalbus Invitational are ranked in the top-20, and No. 11 LMU (7-8) will open play against the hosts, No. 7 UC Irvine (3-5).
The Lions and Anteaters will play at 4:15 p.m. on Friday to determine matchups for the remainder of the weekend.
The tournament consists of four groups and will be played at two pools, UC Irvine Aquatic Center and Corona del Mar Pool. All games played at UCI will have live stats available through theFOSH.
GROUP A: #1 Stanford, #8 Pacific, #9 Michigan, #T-19 Long Beach State
GROUP B: #2 California, #7 UC Irvine, #11 LMU, #T-19 Cal State Northridge
GROUP C: #3 USC, #6 Arizona State, #15 UC San Diego, #18 San Jose State
GROUP D: #4 UCLA, #5 Hawaii, #14 San Diego State, #17 UC Santa Barbara
