LOS ANGELES – The LMU women's basketball team (5-2) hits the road once again to take on CSUN (4-5) in Northridge on Friday night at 7 p.m.

The Lions will look to bounce back following their road loss at Denver on Saturday. CSUN also lost their last matchup, falling to Cal in Berkeley.
LMU and CSUN faced off at Gersten Pavilion last season in a close game that ended in a 75-68 win for the Matadors. Channon Fluker had a dominant performance in the CSUN win over the Lions, finishing with 26 points, 13 boards and a career-high eight blocks. Fluker is averaging team highs in points (15.8) and rebounds (12.3) per game so far in 2018-19.
The Lions have dealt with injuries to key players early on this season, but the team has relied on the steady play of senior
Bree Alford (8.3 ppg, 10.0 rpg), junior
Cierra Belvin (7.7 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 2.4 spg) and sophomore
Jasmine Jones (12.1 ppg, 6.9 rpg) throughout.
Following Friday night's game at CSUN, LMU will return home to host Long Beach State on Friday, Dec. 14 before taking off for the Puerto Rico Classic with games Dec. 19-21.
