LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The 2018-19 Loyola Marymount University men's basketball team (11-2) returns to the hardwood on Friday evening for a 7 p.m. game against UC Davis (3-8).
The Lions, who have not seen game action since Dec. 22, is ready to close out the non-conference portion of their schedule, as well as the calendar year, with a home contest against the Aggies.
UC Davis enters Gersten Pavilion following a thriller in Tucson against University of Arizona. The Aggies erased an 11-point halftime deficit before the Wildcats hit the game-winning three with a minute remaining to stymie any upset dreams.
In LMU's last time out, the Lions were held to their season-low with 53 points scored against UC Riverside. On the season, the Lions average 71 points per game and have a chance to return to that mark Friday. UC Davis allows an average of 68.4 ppg, and their -6.9 points differential on the season ranks 306 in the NCAA this season.
The 11 non-conference regular-season wins thus far are the most for the program since the 1961-62 Lions beat California for their 11th win out of conference play.
The game will stream live on TheW.tv.
