LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Loyola Marymount University men's basketball team is set to play the final leg of their season-long three-game road swing. The 9-1 Lions make their first of two trips this year to the Rose City to play Portland State (5-4) Saturday at 7:05 p.m.

This marks the third-consecutive season that the two teams have played, with LMU and PSU splitting the two contests at GerstenPavilion. The Lions have only traveled to Portland State's campus twice, in 2002 and 2011, over the seven previous meetings.

This year's Vikings lead the nation in four statistical categories: Total Rebounds Per Game (48.33), Rebound Margin (15.3), Offensive Rebounds Per Game (21.44), and Steals Per Game (11.4).

In addition to rebounding a ball control, it will be interesting to see how PSU's 84.0 points per game matchup against LMU's top-10 defense. The Lions rank ninth in Division I, allowing just 58.3 points per game. Additionally, teams are making just 25 percent of threes against LMU, the fifth-best mark in the country.

This is the first season of play in the renovated Viking Pavilion on the campus of Portland State. Despite a 5-4 overall record, the Vikings are 4-0 at home this season.

The game will be streamed live on Pluto TV. Download the Pluto TV app free on mobile, web, and living room devices, including Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, Playstation, Xbox, and more, or simply stream online.
