2019 Schedule
 
LOS ANGELES – Head Coach Kyle Witt has announced the women's water polo schedule for the spring 2019 season. The Lions return a team this season that played in the finals of the Golden Coast Championships a season ago.
 
The season officially opens on Jan. 26 at the Cal Baptist mini-tournament in Riverside.
 
The Lions follow with the UCLA mini-tournament in the morning of Feb. 2 and welcome alumni back to The Bluff that same afternoon for a 3:00 P.M. Alumni Game.
 
LMU will play back-to-back weekends in La Jolla as they travel to the UCSD Triton Invitational on Feb. 9-10 then return on Feb. 15 for a single match against the Tritons.
 
Tournament season continues as the Lions participate in the UC Irvine Tournament from Feb. 22-24 then the Claremont Convergence on Mar. 1-2.
 
The Lions make their home debut with the return of the annual LMU Invitational on Mar. 16 and 17 at Burns Aquatics Center. This year's field will include LMU, Princeton, Marist, Wagner, Pomona-Pitzer, San Jose State, CSU East Bay, and Bucknell.
 
Following the home tournament, the Lions play seven-straight GCC games to close out the year. The first three are at home with San Diego State coming Mar. 22, Azusa Pacific playing the following day, and Fresno State closing out the month at Burns on Mar. 30.
 
The road swing of the conference schedule begins Apr. 5 then 6 with trips to Santa Clara and Pacific, respectively.
 
LMU then plays at Cal Baptist on Apr. 13 before concluding the regular season at home with Concordia coming to campus Apr. 17.
 
The GCC Championships will be held in Fresno, Calif. From Apr. 26-28.
