It'll be a show down at the University of Denver on Saturday afternoon as the LMU women's basketball team travels there to take on the Pioneers in matchup that begins at 12 p.m. PT (1 p.m. local). Both teams enter the contest with a record of 5-1. Denver's lone loss came on the road at Northern Colorado, while LMU was taken down at home by Northern Arizona.

The Lions were ranked 22nd in the College Insider Mid-Major poll that was released this week. Entering Saturday's matchup, LMU is holding opponents to just 60.0 points per game and 36.5 percent shooting from the floor. Sophomores Chelsey Gipson (14.8 ppg) and Jasmine Jones (11.8 ppg) are leading the Lions in scoring on the season with Gabby Green currently out to due injury, while senior Bree Alford controls the glass, averaging 10.8 rebounds per game.
