WCC Release

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announced the 2018 West Coast Conference Men's Soccer All-Academic Team and honorable mention list on Wednesday, which featured six members of the LMU men's soccer team.

Senior Antonio Porreco was named to the 2018 WCC All-Academic Team after posting a 3.89 GPA in his health and human science major. Porreco was the team's assist leader in 2018 with six on the season to go along with two goals for 10 total points.

Junior Nick Dauchot and sophomores Francis Avoce, Ryan Bishop, Brandon Sanchez and Leo Zulli earned WCC All-Academic honorable mention for their contributions both on and off the field in 2018.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average while also being a significant contributor to his team.

This season, 23 honorees turned in a GPA of 3.5 or higher and 12 posted a 3.75 GPA or better.
