LMU volleyball (19-9, 9-8 WCC) dropped a PCH Cup match to Pepperdine (20-8, 13-4 WCC) on Sunday in a rescheduled contest due to the Southern California wildfires. The Waves swept the Lions in the match, earning wins in the opening three sets by 25-21, 25-19 and 25-23. Senior

Tess Reid tallied a game-high 37 assists as LMU hit .259 as a team. Libero

The Waves hit .282 and posted a .400 mark in set two while holding LMU to just .182 in the second. There were 20 tie scores and six lead changes in the match, with three of the lead changes occurring in the first set.
Pepperdine swept the 2018 season series against LMU. The Waves also defeated the Lions three sets to none in Malibu on Oct. 13.
