LOS ANGELES – Following the team's 69-63 win over No. 23 UCLA last week, the Lions (1-0) travel to Arizona for their road opener vs. the Wildcats (1-0). LMU and Arizona will tip off at 5:30 p.m. PT at the McKale Center.
 
Both teams have started the 2018-19 season 1-0 after picking up wins in their home openers. Arizona defeated Idaho State on Friday, 71-46. The Wildcats had a pair of 20-point performances by Aari McDonald (22 points/10 rebounds) and Cate Reese (21 points/10 rebounds) in their rout of the Bengals.
 
Senior Gabby Green had a dominant performance in the Lions' opening-night win over the Bruins. She finished with 25 points, seven boards, four steals and four assists as she led LMU to victory.
 
Sophomore Chelsey Gipson finished with 13 points and five boards on the night. Bree Alford pulled down a team-high nine rebounds with seven points, sophomore Jasmine Jones added eight points, six rebounds, two blocks and two steals, and junior Cierra Belvin tallied seven points, five boards, three steals and two assists.

LMU defeated Arizona at Gersten Pavilion last season, 84-70. Green had 21 points and eight assists in the win.

Following Tuesday night's game at Arizona, the Lions play one more road game at UC Santa Barbara on Monday, Nov. 19, before returning home again as they host the annual LMU Thanksgiving Classic Nov. 23-24.
