LOS ANGELES – The LMU men's soccer team (3-7) begins WCC play this weekend as they travel to Santa Clara to battle the Broncos (4-5-1) on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. PT. Santa Clara is 2-1 at home this season and is currently riding a four-match unbeaten streak, tying their last contest in double overtime at Xavier and winning the previous three games at Georgia State, vs. Cal (OT) and at Cal Poly.
The Lions have won two of their last three, defeating New Mexico 2-1 on the road on Tuesday and earning a big 2-1 victory over then No. 13 CSUN at home. LMU is 3-7 on the season, with its other win this season coming on opening night at home vs. UC Riverside. The Lions' win over New Mexico was the team's first road win of the season.

This match continues LMU's five-game road stretch as they just returned from New Mexico and following Sunday's game, they play at Portland (Oct. 12), Gonzaga (Oct. 14) and UCLA (Oct. 20) before hosting the first home WCC game of the season vs. Pacific on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.
