Men's Soccer Takes On UCLA In Final Non-Conference Match

Radio Broadcast | Live Stats

LOS ANGELES – The LMU men's soccer team (5-8, 2-1 WCC) heads to UCLA (8-4) tonight for its final non-conference match of the 2018 season. The Lions and Bruins will square off at 7 p.m.

LMU has won three out of its last four games, and the team is coming off of a 1-0 road win at Gonzaga in which the Lions held the Bulldogs without a single shot on goal. Lions' freshman CJ Neville scored the lone goal in the match, putting in his second of the season, with both coming since LMU started conference play.

Kris Fourcand leads the Lions in scoring on the season, with three goals, while Antonio is LMU's assist leader with four. LMU goalkeeper Paul Lewis has a record of 5-7 on the season with 45 total saves, a save percentage of .676 and goals against average of 1.83.

The Bruins are currently riding a season-best three-game winning streak heading into tonight's match. This is the first time the Bruins and Lions will be facing each other since the 2012 season.

Today's match concludes a five-game road stretch for the Lions, who will finally return to Sullivan Field for their next home matchup vs. Pacific on Friday, Oct. 26.

There will be no live stream of tonight's game, but there will be a radio broadcast and live stats which are available here.
