Following a Lion sweep this past weekend at San Diego State, LMU's men's tennis team (1-1) will travel to Las Vegas for a double match up against the UNLV Rebels (1-1) and New Mexico State Aggies (2-1) on Friday, February 2. The Lion-Aggie match is set to begin at 2:00 pm, following the 10:00 am match against the Rebels.
When LMU last faced off against UNLV last year, the Lions came out on the short end of a 5-2 decision at home; however, the last meeting between the Lions and Aggies in 2015 ended in success for LMU, as they were able to garner a 6-1 home victory over New Mexico State.
The UNLV Rebels are 1-1 this season, after a 4-0 loss to Baylor this past weekend. The Aggies are 2-1 so far this season, with their one loss coming from the University of San Francisco, where they were defeated 5-2.
After this Friday's match, the Lions will travel to Tempe, Arizona, where they will face Arizona State on Friday at 10:00 am and Fresno State on Saturday at 5:00 pm.
