LMU Athletics is excited to announce that Renata Simril '93, will serve as keynote speaker for the 4th annual Women in Athletics Day at the Races.

Over her 25-year career, Renata has been a driving force behind positive change in Los Angeles. Now as the President and CEO of the LA84 Foundation, she is embracing the Olympic movement to drive transformational change through sport for those most in need. To date the organization impacted more than 3 million youth and their families in underserved and under resourced communities, trained over 80,000 coaches, and supported more than 2,220 nonprofit organizations. As a board member of the 2028 Olympic Committee, she continues to promote the utilization of sport to improve the lives, health and education of young people throughout Southern California.
