LOS ANGELES - Loyola Marymount women's soccer Head Coach Michelle Myers finalized her fall 2017 roster with the addition of Lauren Marcarelli. The addition of Marcarelli makes nine newcomers to an LMU team that finished fourth in the West Coach Conference in 2016 with a record of 11-5-3 (6-3-0 WCC). As a goalkeeper at Oaks Christian High School, Marcarelli blocked three of five penalty kicks to advance her team on to win the CIF Championship. Marcarelli has two years of ODP experience and was in the national pool four times.

Team Awards: CIF Champions in 2014
Individual Awards: Ventura County All-Star Game, Player of the Week, Honor Roll

Head Coach Michelle Myers on Marcarelli:

"We are excited that we can officially announce the addition of Lauren Marcarelli to our incoming class of 2017. Lauren comes to us from two quality soccer programs - Eagles Soccer Club and Oaks Christian High School. We believe adding Lauren to our goalkeeping crew will make for some great competition in that position. Lauren has good height and covers the goal well. She has the ability to make the big saves and we look forward to seeing her do that as a Lion."
