WCC Release
SAN BRUNO, Calif. â€" The West Coast Conference named the All-Academic Women's Rowing Teams on Thursday. Two Lions, Clara Brackbill and Kim Ehntholt, earned first team honors, while LMU earned four to the honorable mention team with Ciara Campbell, Nora Consani, Masury Lynch, and Briar Murphy each earning recognition.
Throughout the conference, fourteen West Coast Conference women's rowers own a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or better and forty-seven posted a GPA of 3.50 or better.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team. No fewer than 84 WCC student-athletes met the academic criteria for women's rowing.
LMU's six selections will all race Saturday as part of the West Coast Conference Rowing Championships at Lake Natoma.
