Harman got the Lions their first hit of the game in the third with her single to center, Brown singled to center in the fourth, and Lindsey Matoi singled to center as well in the fifth. In the 7th, Sabrina Tebou tried to add to the Lions 1-0 lead by blasting her second double of the day, but Tebou would not score. In the bottom of 7, the Tigers were able to push one across, tying it 1-1 and sending it into the 8th.
LMU strung together two hits in the 8th, one by Dirks and one by Brown but no Lions would score. Pacific was able to get a two-run home run to end the game in the 8th with a final of 3-1.
