Saturday Results

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Loyola Marymount women's rowing team came out with a fast start at Sacramento State's Hornet Invitational. The Lions won all three of their morning races to start the annual invitational.

The Lions opened the day with a win in their first race of the day. LMU finished in 6:43.6 in the WV8 to top both Drexel (6:47.7) and SMC (6:58.9) to earn the victory.

In the W2V8, LMU (6:57.8) topped SMC (7:00.6) by over two seconds to take the race.

The morning session concluded with another Lions win. The WV4 went to one of the two LMU (8:01.8) crews competing. The LMU "B" boat (8:26.6) finished between SMC (8:18.5) and SMC "B" (9:09.9).

The afternoon sessions featured LMU in the WV8, W2V8, and two entries in the WV4. Complete results are located at the link above.

Racing continues Sunday morning with three scheduled events: WV8 at 8 a.m., W2V8 at 8:20 a.m., and WV4 at 8:40 a.m.
