LOS ANGELES - LMU Head Coach Mike Dunlap will be in elite company when he is a guest speaker at the Championship Basketball Clinic hosted in Phoenix, Ariz., Sept. 16-18. Dunlap, who enters his third season at the helm of the Lions, is one of 11 speakers on the schedule for the event.

The "On The Court With Players" series presented by Nike, which LMU hosted a similar event with Hall of Famer George Raveling in September of 2015, will be held at Grand Canyon University and Dunlap will speak on Sunday about "Defensive Transition."

The elite panel of speakers includes Hall of Famer Bob Knight, Steve Fisher (San Diego State), Mark Few (Gonzaga), Dan Majerle (Grand Canyon), Dan Monson (Long Beach St.), Sean Miller (Arizona), Craig Neal (New Mexico), Jim Boone (Delta State), Kevin Boyle (Monteverde Academy Florida, three-time national champion) and Ed Janka (Director of the Nike Championship Series Clinics).

This is one of four events schedule this fall. Five more are scheduled in the Spring of 2017, with the west coast event being held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., April 28-30.
