Hamilton, N.Y. - LMU men's soccer fell in its opening game of the season at Colgate, 1-0, Friday afternoon at Beyer-Small '76 Field.

The Lions outshot the Raiders, 10-9, though shots on goal proved to be the difference as Colgate tallied four between the pipes, while LMU only registered one.
Alvaro Madrigal led the offense with three shots and registered the Lions lone shot on goal. Jose Ochoa and Connor Johnson each fired a pair.
Colin Partee marked his LMU debut with a three-save effort, playing all 90 minutes in net after transferring from Utah State.
