Lions Host San Francisco on Senior Night Saturday

LOS ANGELES - The LMU men's soccer team is set to honor its five seniors as it hosts San Francisco Saturday night in its final match of the season at 7 p.m.

Senior Night
The Lions will honor Mark Dotseth, Jose Ochoa, Adrien Perez, Jonathan McLouth and Maurice Morton before the start of Saturday's match.

Last Time Out
In it's final road contest of the season, the LMU men's soccer team nabbed scores in each half to cruise past Santa Clara, 2-0, Nov. 6 at Stevens Stadium. Connor Johnson and Lucky Puengrod scored a goal apiece, while Dante Pezzi recorded a three-save effort en route to recording a shutout in his first career start in net. With the victory, LMU recorded its second straight season with at least five road victories.

Making Marks
After snapping his team-leading third goal of the season against Gonzaga, Adrien Perez moved into sole possession for fourth on the all-time career points list with 55. Perez is also moving up the goals list with 20, good for fourth overall.

Follow The Leader
Colin Partee has been impressive in net this season as he leads the conference in saves (74), save percentage (.796), saves per game (4.62) and is tied for the lead in shutouts (16).

Snapping the Streak
The Lions win over then-No. 17 UCSB on Sept. 21 marked the first time since 2010 LMU has downed a ranked opponent, breaking a nine-game losing streak. The Lions previous victory over a ranked foe came in a 3-2 decision over then-No. 25 Portland Oct. 10, 2010.

Keep it Coming
LMU matched its highest scoring output against a ranked oppoent with four scores against UCSB, matching its highest scoring total when the Lions blanked then-No. 2 Santa Clara, 4-0, Nov. 12, 2004.

Freshman Force
Freshmen Sahid Conteh, Lucky Puengrod and Garrett Amador have each snapp a pair of goals this season.

The trio mark the first time LMU has had three freshmen with multiple scores in a season since Alvaro Madrigal, Grant Sampson and Griffin Bell each tallied a pair in their freshmen campaigns in 2014.

Instant Impact
LMU's match against UC Davis on Sept. 11 marked the first time two freshmen tabbed scores since Sept. 20, 2013, when Mark Dotseth and Adrien Perez each snapped a goal in a 4-0 shutout of Sacramento State.

Road Warriors
The Lions have proven up to the test on the road the past four seasons, amassing a 19-12-7 mark during that span.

Scouting San Francisco
The Dons are coming off a 4-3 win at San Diego last weekend to stand at 7-8 overall and 3-3 in conference action, tying LMU for the fourth spot in the WCC standings.

David Garrett leads leads San Francisco with seven goals, while Aaron Lombardi ranks second on the team with 12 points coming on two scores and eight assists.

The Series
USF holds a 24-12-2 command in all-time series, though the Lions are 8-2-1 against the Dons in the last 11 matchups.
