LOS ANGELES - As the calendar turns from September to October, it means that LMU basketball can get into full swing as the 2015-16 season official begins. With it comes a month of training and opportunities for fans to get into the action. Season tickets are on sale now and the early bird special for men's basketball ends on October 4. Ticket prices for the 2015-16 season for both men's and women's basketball have been set and season tickets are available online now. The early bird season ticket renewal special pricing for the lower level crimson chair backs is good through October 4, so act now. Women's season tickets are $40 and men's basketball tickets for lower level premium season tickets are just $225 during the early bird period.

Practice for both teams has hit full stride as September closes. The annual celebration to the start of the new season, MADNESS, is set for Friday, Oct. 23 at 8:30 pm. The student-oriented program will showcase the Lions to the campus and is the centerpiece to a full week of activities at LMU.

Then fans can get a sneak peak and schedule exhibition games for both the men and women. The men have added Cal State Dominguez Hills as their exhibition, and it will be held Sunday, Nov. 8 at 5 pm. The women will host a pair of exhibitions, the first also against CSUDH on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 7 pm followed by Bethesda University on Monday, Nov. 9 at 7 pm.

The seasons then officially tip-off with the men hosting Cal State Fullerton on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 pm and the women at Colorado, on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1 pm.
