Sept. 21, 2015 LOS ANGELES - - Some of the best in college basketball coaching will convene on LMU's Gersten Pavilion this coming weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26-27 for George Raveling's Coaching For Success Academy. LMU Head Coach Mike Dunlap will be one of 10 presenters to speak at this special event.
Hosted by Basketball Hall of Fame member George Raveling, the weekend long Academy will feature a wide variety of sessions from speakers with a wide-range of basketball backgrounds. Speakers include Raveling, John Calipari (Kentucky), Buzz Williams (Virginia Tech), Jay Wright (Villanova), Cuonzo Martin (Cal), Kevin Eastman (VP of Operations, LA Clippers), Dana Altman (Oregon), Cynthia Cooper-Dyke (USC) and the second-year head coach Dunlap.
Topics for the event will range from "Lessons Learned at Nike" by Raveling to "Developing a Winning Work Ethic" by Cooper-Dyke. Here is what is scheduled:
