"We had a great opportunity and privilege to compare ourselves with some of the best in the nation," LMU rowing head coach Dr. Vaclav Kacir said. "It was a great learning experience for the team. As a team, we had a great performance Saturday afternoon, and then on Sunday morning, the varsity eight took a great next step by winning their last race."
Cal won the Lake Natoma Invitational with 52 total points, just ahead of #2 Brown and Stanford with 46 points.
LMU will now prepare for the Western Intercollegaite Rowing Association Championships on April 25 and 26.
