Women's Results vs. UCLA | Parker Cup Results

LMU women's rowing competed against UCLA at Ballona Creek, while the men hit the water at the Parker Cup in Irvine last weekend.

Competing against one of the nation's top squads in UCLA, the women battled tough in a pair of varsity 8 races and one varsity 4.

"It was a great experience for us to face one of the fastest teams in the country," Director of Rowing/Head Women's Coach Dr. Vaclav Kacir said. "Our team showed a solid improvement from the week before, and the race exposed what we need to work on and improve moving forward."

On the men's side, LMU entered only one boat at the Parker Cup, with the Lions finishing fifth in the third Varsity 8 with a time of 7:24.
