Competing at the San Diego Fall Classic on Saturday, LMU rowing showed well, with the women's 8+ claiming second place and the men's 4+ taking third. The competition was the last of the fall season for LMU, as the Lions will return to action on February 27 at San Diego State.
San Diego Fall Classic Results 
The Lions took a close second to San Diego in the women's 8+, turning in a time of 16:13 behind USD's 16:01. USD dominated the 4+ race on the women's side, placing boats in first through fifth, but LMU was the first non-Torero rig to cross, finishing with a time of 19:21. LMU's B boat placed 10th in the race with a time of 20:43.
On the men's side, LMU took third and seventh in the 4+. UCSB won the event with a time of 16:29, followed by LBRA (16:30) and the Lions at 17:00. LMU's B boat turned in a mark of 17:50 to claim the seventh-place finish. In the men's 8+, LMU finished tied for 10th in 15:41.
