SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Three Lions were honored Wednesday as the West Coast Conference announced its 2015 Men's Soccer All-Academic Team.
Redshirt junior Mark Dotseth was named to the 11-member team while sophomore Ray Barajas and Jonathan McLouth were among the honorable mention selections.
Dotseth, a biology major with a 3.67 cumulative GPA, is just one of two members of this year's team who earned selection on the senior-laden 2014 squad.
Barajas is a Spanish major with a 3.50 cumulative GPA while McLouth carries a 3.38 cumulative GPA and is majoring in sociology.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team. This season 37 student-athletes met or exceeded the selection criteria.
