LOS ANGELES - Senior defender Craig Nitti and sophomore midfielder Adrien Perez were named to the John Rennie/Nike Invitational All-Tournament Team following their play in the Lions' two matches in Durham, N.C.
Perez had four shots in the two matches, and tallied LMU's goal in a 1-1 draw against Duke Friday night.
Nitti anchored the Lions' back line in both matches, playing all but seven minutes.
The Lions went 0-1-1 over the season's opening weekend, earning the 1-1 double-overtime draw against the Blue Devils before dropping a tight 1-0 setback against Elon on Sunday.
LMU's four-game, season-opening road swing continues on Friday, Sept. 5 at UC Davis and Sunday, Sept. 7 at Sacramento State.
