Complete 2014 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA DI Women's All-West Region Teams
LOS ANGELES - Junior Jocelyn Blankenship was named to the 2014 National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA)/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Women's All-West Region Third Team, the association announced last week.
This marks the second such honor for the midfielder from Eastvale, Calif., who also earned Third Team honors following her rookie season at LMU in 2012.
Blankenship, who also earned second team All-West Coast Conference honors this fall, was instrumental in managing the Lions' central midfield, finishing with a team-high six assists. For her career, she now has seven goals and 14 assists, the latter mark putting her in a tie for sixth place in the LMU career record book.
The 2014 Lions concluded the year with a 9-8-2 overall record.
