LOS ANGELES - The final road game of the 2014 season is also one of the shortest trips of the year for LMU women's soccer as it travels 19 miles up the PCH on Sunday to face West Coast Conference rival Pepperdine in the annual Wells Fargo PCH Cup match. Kick off from Malibu is scheduled for 1 p.m.
The Lions guaranteed themselves a winning season last week with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory at Gonzaga. Now 9-6-2 overall, they are in the hunt for their first 10+ win season since 2010.
Shannon Kent and Morgan Hilby have starred for the Lions as of late, combining to score the last four goals. In all, the duo has netted 11 of LMU's 22 goals, while Hibly also has five assists. Jocelyn Blankenship leads the squad wit six assists. Sophia Leksan continues to shine in goal, allowing just 1.13 goals per game while collecting 70 saves on the year.
Pepperdine will offer a formidable test as the Waves enter the week ranked No. 12 in the NSCAA Coaches Poll with it's 13-2-3 overall record. Lynn Williams leads the Waves with 11 goals and four assists for 26 points. Ten other Waves have scored at least once. In goal, Hannah Seabert has played all but 15 minutes, allowing just 11 goals for an 0.59 average, to go along with eight shutouts.

• LMU's 3-1 win at Pacific on Oct. 10 snapped a 12-game streak without a WCC victory. Previous to the Oct. 10 match, LMU's last WCC win was over San Francisco - a 1-0 overtime victory over the Dons on Oct. 21, 2012.
