LOS ANGELES -With LMU Madness in the books, the tip-off to the 2014-15 college basketball season continues to get closer and closer. Up next for Lion fans is a special First Look event at Gersten Pavilion on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 5 pm.

On Saturday, Season ticket holders and active LMU OneCard holders (students, faculty and staff) will have a special opportunity to be a part of an LMU basketball practice and a chance to meet the team one-on-one. The special First Look Practice begins at 5 pm. The coaches and players will then hold a question and answer session following the practice.

In addition, Season tickets will be available for pick-up on that day and only active season ticket or OneCard holders will be given access to the special practice.

Season Tickets are on sale now through LMULions.com/Tickets. Those in the local community can once again take advantage of a special 90045 offer, getting season tickets for as low as $90 for adults and $45 for youth/seniors. LMU OneCard holders get access to all games for free in the LMU student section. Special reserved season ticket pricing is available for faculty and staff.

The Lions will then play its only exhibition game of the season against UC San Diego on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 7 pm. The season will officially begin with the LMU Classic presented by the Office of International Students and Scholars on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14-15. For the complete schedule, CLICK HERE.

LMU will host 17 games this season at Gersten Pavilion, including non-conference match-ups against Boise State (Mountain West) and UC Irvine (Big West), a pair of opponents picked to challenge for a conference title. Also on the schedule is the 4th Annual LMU Holiday Classic against UC Riverside on Wednesday, Nov. 26. The special day-before Thanksgiving game is FREE to all and as has become tradition will feature $1 hotdogs thanks to Sodexo.

The Lions will also face a challenging road schedule that includes Arizona St. (Nov. 20), USC (Dec. 3), and Stanford (Dec. 17). All three games will be on the Pac-12 Networks.

They will then close the non-conference slate with a trip to the 2014 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic on Dec. 22-25. The Lions will open with Wichita State on Dec. 22 on ESPNU. LMU, along with Hawaiian Airlines and Outrigger Hotels, will be hosting a special #HawaiianLion contest to win a trip to Hawaii for the tournament, which will include lodging at an Outrigger Hotel, airline tickets on Hawaiian Airlines and game tickets.

The contest will begin on Oct. 27 with social media contests throughout the coming weeks. Selected winners of the contests will then compete during a timeout of LMU's Nov. 15 game against Boise State to determine the grand prize winner. Detailed rules and specific ways to win will be released on the 27th through LMULions.com.
