HAMILTON, N.Y. - John McFarlin and Dylan Seedman each found the back of the net in the final two minutes of regulation Friday as the LMU men's soccer team came back from a 1-0 deficit to earn a 2-1 victory at Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y.
The Lions moved to 3-0-0 on the year, having netted a pair of goals in each of their three wins. The Raiders fall to 0-5-0.
After a scoreless first half, Ethan Kutler put the Raiders on the board in the 60th minute. After earning a free kick at the top of the box, Kutler sent a right footed shot just left of the LMU wall and into the far post corner of the net.
Connecting on a loose ball in the middle of the box, McFarlin netted the equalizer at the 87:49 mark with a right footed shot into the near post. Leon Prikhodovskiy and Seedman were credited with assists on the play.
With just 50 ticks remaining, Seedman collected a long ball won by McFarlin in the midfield, beat the Raiders' last defender and slotted a shot past Colgate keeper Ricky Brown for the game-winner.
THe Lions wrap up their East Coast swing on Sunday, traveling to Ithaca, N.Y., to face Cornell in a 2:30 p.m. (PT) tilt.
