LOS ANGELES -- LMU men's water polo fell to Santa Clara, 10-6, in Western Water Polo Association action on Sunday at the Burns Aquatics Center.
The Broncos (14-12, 2-2 WWPA) broke open a 3-3 tie with five unanswered goals and outscored the Lions (11-12, 1-3) 8-3 in the middle two quarters to earn the win. Goalie Matt Pritchett had 16 saves in the win for Santa Clara.
LMU goalie Kirk Wilenius had 10 saves and fellow freshman Jon Beck had three goals.
LMU will host California Baptist on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 1 pm. The annual Alumni Game will follow at 3 pm.
