Prior to LMU... graded from Nipomo High School in San Luis Obispo with a 3.8 GPA... was a 10-time letterwinner, playing volleyball, basketball and water polo... averaged 14 saves per game as a junior and 15 per game as a senior... was named first-team All-CIF Division 7 as a junior and senior... played for coach Justin Jewell... was also a two-time All-Los Padres League selection... was team MVP last two seasons... played for Santa Barbara Club... played center for the basketball team, earning Honorable Mention All-Padres League as a junior (did not play as a senior)... averaged eight points and eight rebounds per game... was a two-time All-League selection in men's volleyball, earning first-team All-Padres League as a senior, earning team MVP honors while averaging 10 kills and four blocks per game... a California Scholarship Federation Lifetime member... earned Titan Award for a 3.5 or better GPA all four years of high school... Titan Academic Athlete.

Personal... Kirk William Wilenius was born on Dec. 27, 1993 in San Luis Obispo, Calif... He is the son of Ann and Kim Wilenius... he has a younger brother... was a member of the Rotary Club at NHS... volunteered at the Special Olympics through his involvement with the Key Club... a Health & Human Science major.
