LOS ANGELES - LMU Women's Basketball Head Coach Charity Elliott is excited about the collective product she is putting on the court as her second season at the helm of the program gets underway. She got her first good look at all aspects of the system at the Lions' annual post-Madness scrimmage.

"This was our first opportunity to put everything together and I was very pleased with the effort," said Elliott. "I liked our pace, I liked the way different people came in and contributed. We have a lot of different people who can do a lot of different things."

The Lions played three 20-minute periods with official from the West Coast Conference. Following the game, the WCC officials reviewed important rule changes and points of emphasis for the upcoming season.

The LMU Sports Network was there and had a chance to get a sneak peak of the Lions and talk to Coach Elliott following the scrimmage.

LMU begins the season with its lone exhibition game on Saturday, Nov. 4 taking on Cal State San Bernardino at 7:00 pm. Season tickets are on sale now by calling the LMU ticket office at (310) 338-LION (5466). All tickets, including special season ticket packages and individual game tickets will go on sale Tuesday through the new LMU online ticket system.
