LOS ANGELES, Calif. - As the 2013 season approaches, we here at LMULions.com would like to (re)introduce you to some of the baseball players who will be gracing Page Stadium's field this year. We have asked all the players a series of questions that range from why they chose LMU to what they would change their name to if they could. Today's question and answer session will feature sophomore Brandon Horth.
LMULions.com: What did you do this summer?
Brandon Horth: This summer I played summer ball in the Great Lakes League in Ohio.
LMU: Why did you choose LMU/What do you like most about LMU?
BH: I chose LMU for the coaching staff, the academics, and because I like the kind of people and environment the school hosts.
LMU: Do you have a nickname? Explain the meaning behind it.
BH: My nickname in high school was B-ho. Its pretty straightforward where it spawned from haha.
LMU: What is your greatest highlight on the field?
BH: Playing in Dodger stadium in the CIF finals of my senior year.
LMU: After LMU, what do you want to do?
BH: I want to go on to work, and hopefully own my own business if not play professional baseball for as long as I can.
LMU: Do you have any superstitions?
BH: Not really, just routines.
LMU: Do you have any hidden talents?
BH: I can create music, like rap beats and guitar rifts etc.
LMU: What is your favorite baseball team?
BH: The Angels
LMU: What is the early favorite for your walk-up song?
BH: Kraddy Android Porn
LMU: What is your favorite movie?
BH: Titanic
LMU: What is your favorite book?
BH: Shade's Children
LMU: What celebrity would play you in a movie about your life?
BH: Brad Pitt
LMU: You are given $1,000,000 - what do you spend it on?
BH: I invest it. If that is not an option I buy a yacht island, or a new car and new house.
LMU: Are you a collector of anything?
BH: Not especially
LMU: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
BH: To teleport because it would be very time efficient and I could see the world.
LMU: If I take a look inside your refrigerator what would I find?
BH: Spinach, Bananas, Broccoli, Blueberries, and water.
LMU: What is your motto or advice you live by?
BH: Never Give Up
