Final Stats

LOS ANGELES -- The seventh-ranked LMU women's water polo team earned a 20-4 win over Azusa Pacific in non-conference action at the Burns Aquatic Center on Thursday afternoon. The Lions improve to 16-9 on the season with the win.

The Lions led 5-2 after one and 11-2 at the break. They then exploded for eight unanswered in the third quarter to coast to the win. The Lions have won 10 of their last 12.

For the third time on the season sophomore Alexandra Honny had six goals in the win. She now has 67 goals on the season. Kimberly Benedetti added three goals, while Whitney Delgado, Casey Flacks and Jessica Morelos added a pair each.

The Lions will conclude the regular season and celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, April 21 when they host Long Beach State at 12 noon.
