Game 2

In the top of the third, Sam Fischer went yard with a lead off solo homerun to left center to start things off. Later in the inning, junior Skylar Segura doubled to left center, driving in Nelson and Sarginson, putting the Lions up 5-2 after three innings.
The top of the sixth inning saw more offense from the Lions as sophomore Sam Nelson doubled down the left field line to drive in another RBI for the Lions. The Lions then capitalized on two wild pitches that brought home two more unearned runs.
Back to back wild pitches in the top of the seventh inning set up slugger Sam Fischer for her tenth home run of the season, and 54th all time as she homered to the exact same spot she had in the third inning, this time driving in three RBIs with her. The Lions went on to win 11-2.
Dana Waldusky (3-2) threw her third win of the season pitching four complete innings with two strikeouts.
