LOS ANGELES, Calif. - As the 2013 season approaches, we here at LMULions.com would like to (re)introduce you to some of the baseball players who will be gracing Page Stadium's field this year. We have asked all the players a series of questions that range from why they chose LMU to what they would change their name to if they could. LMULions.com: What did you do this summer?
Michael Silva: I played baseball with my roommate Mitch Russell and got myself prepared for college.
LMU: Why did you choose LMU/What do you like most about LMU?
MS: I chose LMU because of the education that is given here and the ability to play D1 baseball.
LMU: What is your greatest highlight on the field?
MS: Striking someone out looking and knowing it when I release the ball from my hand.
LMU: After LMU, what do you want to do?
MS: I would like to become a PT or get involved in sports medicine
LMU: What is your favorite baseball team?
MS: New York Yankees
LMU: What is the early favorite for your walk-up song?
MS: Don't Stop - Red Hot Chili Peppers
LMU: What is your favorite movie?
MS: Ted
LMU: What celebrity would play you in a movie about your life?
MS: Will Ferrell
LMU: You are given $1,000,000 - what do you spend it on?
MS: A new house with some fancy cars.
LMU: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
MS: To teleport so I could visit all the great wonders of the world.
LMU: If I take a look inside your refrigerator what would I find?
MS: Water, Gatorade, and Arnold Palmer's
LMU: What is your motto or advice you live by?
MS: Relax, don't rush.
LMU: Name at least one television show that you watch every week.
MS: MLB Tonight or SportsCenter
LMU: What is your most prized possession?
MS: My Alex Rodriguez signed baseball.
LMU: Any fears or phobias?
MS: I don't like the ocean or heights.
LMU: Who is your biggest influence in life?
MS: My father
LMU: Name one thing not many people know about you.
MS: I am half Salvadorian and half German.
LMU: If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
MS: The dinosaur era
LMU: Are you a morning or night person?
MS: Night person.
LMU: If you could be any animal, what would you be?
MS: A tiger.
LMU: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
MS: Fiji

MS: A car.
