LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Centennial Season for the LMU men's basketball team added one more. The Lions added one more home game, bringing the program record number of home games to 19 on the season. In addition, the Lions added another television appearance to the 2011-12 Centennial Season.

The Lions will take on Vanguard on Dec. 27 at 7 p.m., at Gersten Pavilion. In addition, the Lions game at Florida State on Sunday, Dec. 18 will be televised by ESPNU at 12 noon (3:00 p.m. PT).

Florida State and LMU played the first of their home-and-home series a year ago, also on ESPNU, at Gersten Pavilion. The Lions will return the game this season.

Following the Seminoles, LMU will play at Morgan State on Wednesday, Dec. 21 and wasn't scheduled to play again until the start of West Conference play on Saturday, Dec. 31.

"We had an open date to play with and after the conference schedule came out, we didn't want to go 10 days without playing a game," said Head Coach Max Good. "We were working on a home-and-home relationship but at this late of date our options were limited. We were fortunate to be able to schedule Vanguard at home. We made an effort to play more at home. We accomplished that."

The Lions will play a record 19 home games in 2011-12, which is LMU's Centennial season. LMU will also host the Doubletree Centennial Classic on Dec. 2-3 brining the total number of games at Gersten Pavilion this season to 22. More than any other season since the Pavilion opened in 1981.
