Results

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - LMU Men's tennis could not hold off nationally ranked UC Irvine this afternoon. The Lions fell 6-1 to no. 49 Irvine. Freshman Tom Price earned the Lion's solo point on the day winning on court six in singles.

In doubles play the Lions were led by Sebastian Bustamante and Alex Wilton who defeated Kazarian/Stege on court one 9-8 (7-3). This is Bustamante and Wilton's second straight win at the number one spot and are now 3-1 over their last three matches. In other double play, the Lions were unable to hold off UC Irvine dropping 8-4 on court two and a close 9-8 (7-3) on court three.

After dropping the doubles point, the Lions were unable to come back in singles play. UCI defeated the Lions on courts one through five to make the score 6-1 on the day. On court six however, freshman Tom Price defeated Stephen Stege of UCI 7-6, 6-1. Price is now 10-8 on the season.
