Results

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The LMU Men's tennis team was unable to stop the force of the USD tennis team today falling 7-0 to the toreros. The Lions are now 1-3 in conference play and 3-6 overall on the season.

The Lions were unable to get a win in either singles or doubles. In doubles the Lions held close on all three courts but the toreros clinched the doubles point for an early lead. In singles the Lions were unable to come back for the win, they fell on all six courts to the toreros. Tom Price took Mora of USD to a third set but fell in the ten-point tiebreaker 10-3. With a young team the Lions are gaining experience playing at this top level of competition. Even with a tough loss today the Lions will be better experienced for the end of the season conference tournament.
