Rosenfeld Hired To Basketball Staff

June 25, 2010

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - LMU Head Coach Max Good announced the hiring of Ben Rosenfeld to the Lions' staff, joining the program as the Director of Basketball Operations after spending the last year as an assistant coach at Franklin Pierce University.

Rosenfeld rounds out the LMU coaching staff that returns 14 players from last year's team that went 18-16 and fourth in the WCC. He spent one year at Franklin Pierce in Rindge, N.H., organizing all individual workouts, scouting reports, travel itineraries, film exchange and recruiting schedules.

During his time there, he earned his MBA in Leadership, earning a 3.8 GPA in the one-year accelerated program.

"Ben has a bright future ahead of him and we are very thankful that he will be a part of the LMU program," said Good, who knew Rosenfeld from when he coached on the east coast at Bryant College. "He is a very hard working and enthusiastic individual."

Prior to joining Franklin Pierce, Rosenfeld spent three years at The Winchendon School in Winchendon, Mass. He joined the school in September of 2006 and then left in June to join Franklin Pierce. While at Winchendon, he served as assistant varsity coach for three ears and junior varsity coach for one. He also was an American Culture Teacher, Academic Advisor and Dorm Parent.

He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management. During his time there, he was a student manager for the men's basketball staff.
