LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Loyola Marymount's Homecoming 2010: A 20th Anniversary Celebration is a week a way and the weekend's festivities are many for fans, alums and members of the 1989-90 LMU men's basketball team, who is the main honoree for this year's celebration.

All year LMU is celebrating the 1989-90 LMU men's basketball team who advanced to the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Elite Eight will a magic run that overcame adversity and captured the heart of the nation. Relive their journey through the 1989-90 website at:

The festivities around this year's Homecoming, many celebrating the 20th Anniversary of that team, have taken shape. Here is what will take place this year for Homecoming 2010:

• Pregame at The Loft - 5 p.m. - Hannon Loft (must be 21+)
• LMU Men's Basketball vs. San Diego - 7 p.m. - Gersten Pavilion
• LionsFund Halftime Reception - Halftime - Gersten Pavilion (must be LionsFund member)
