Dec. 20, 2009
Coming off finals week, the LMU men's basketball team claimed their second straight win on Saturday, giving Head Coach Max Good his 250th in his career. The Lions will now play their second game in three nights when they host Long Beach State at Gersten Pavilion, Monday, Dec. 21. The game will be the second of five this season in which the Lions will wear the 1989-90 throwback home jersey in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the LMU men's basketball team that won the WCC title and advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight in 1989-90. The Lions will wear the white with Crimson and Marymount Blue trim for the game against LBSU, which is part of a Holiday Doubleheader with the women. The women play San Diego State at 6 p.m., and the men follow 30 minutes after. Follow both games on KXLU 88.9 FM and online at www.LMULions.com.
Special holiday pricing is available for the three Holiday Doubleheaders at Gersten Pavilion. Fans can come watch both games for one low price. Crimson chairbacks will be $15 and upper level seating will be $10 ($5 for child/seniors) and includes both games. That's $5 off the original price for men's basketball and up to a $15 savings for both games.
All the games will be broadcast live on KXLU 88.9 FM.
